"Marbleized Columns"

This home has many faux techniques represented. The vaulted wood ceiling was painted and glazed with a crackle finish on the beams. The walls have been glazed with a three-colored layering technique in the dining room and two toned in the living room. The baseboards and crown molding have been distressed to give interest and age. The columns and lintel were painted to look like polished marble.
